Ary,

Actually, its not G03, which has multiple bells. This one was just the
sound of one bell, and literally sounded like the dinging of the bell
of a marker bouy.  Might even have had some wave noises too, its been
since the 70's, so its hard to recall.  I think Simon Mason may
mention it in his book.  I know I saw someone did in an article or
publication once.

It was rather creepy, when I first heard it.  Fading in and out with
the atmospherics, and just dinging along.
