[Spooks] N&O 198 (HM01 schedule)

I know that I haven't been reporting lately on HM01, but I can say this much about the station over the past few days, weeks and months:

1) I have NEVER heard HM01 on 12180 at 0500 UT -- except for maybe one time when "Pedro" hit the wrong frequency on the transmitter (but I have heard it on 5855-- even under or over WRMI @ their new 5850 frequency-- on UT Su, M, W, F, and on 14375 on UT Sa [like early this morning!], Tu and Th).

2) The 0600 UT entry showing 11435 every day is partially incorrect; this frequency still apparently alternates with 14375 on Sa, Tu and Th while HM01 broadcasts on 11435 the days 5855 is operational. (I usually hear the 14375 broadcasts on the 13465 image as noted below -- remember, I have the Hamilton WRD-12 that produces images all over the SW bands.)

3) I don't believe that HM01 uses two frequencies at 10 UT (although I have never been awake at that time to confirm my suspicion that they use EITHER 5855 or 9155 on Su, M, W, F -- probably 9155 since 5855 is already being spoken for at 05 UT). They probably use EITHER 12180 or 11635 on Sa, Tu, Th at 10 UT [most likely 12180 since 11635 is used at 18 UT].

Note that I have a whole bunch of logs from February, March and April that I just haven't had time to report (but I do have a whole mini-notebook devoted to HM01, so my comments can be sent in at any time from the original notes).

For the record, the most recent batch of numbers (04/05/14) were (as best as I could hear them):

80381 // 17431 // 43571 // 80454 // 15282 // 83765

Not heard at all on 14375 at 05 UT on 04/05/14; heard on 'image' frequency of 13465 with apparent "pulse" jamming (as if antenna was being rapidly rotated as signal transmitted, thus pulse received approximately every second or so (just a guess as to its speed). Was unable to hear 5855 yesterday; did not try any further due to other DXing targets (like the one below).

Will have a separate report on a military aviation weather report for UDXF.

Sincerely,

Shawn S Fahrer
(the guy from Flushing NY)
