But isn't that just what you want for practice?  I used to have a 
little device (British made, I think) that sent random 5-character 
groups at selectable keying speeds to a pair of headphones.  It sure 
was good practice and helped to pass my exam!  Nowadays there are 
computer programs that do the same thing.  (Showing my age here.)
