[Spooks] Q: M26, still around ?

Anyone who has heard M26 lately ?

Last heard a this end on 2960 kHz on 10 May 2002 (!) at 2337 UTC in A1A morse with "99 60578" and "99 01212". At midnight UTC it changed to a new id "19 19 19", then at 0002 back to "99 01212".

Very few loggings found using the spynumbers.com search function. Seems like last entry there was even older then mine; in 1998 on 4106 kHz !

It was once suggested that this might be the Royal Navy School of Signals, anyone on the list who has some ideas regarding the (true) origin of M26 ?
