Ary, I have been away from monitoring for several years and appreciate the list. Would you clarify for me what occurred below? Who are ITU monitoring stations? Was the QSL from a government office that normally sends reception reports? I have never heard of a QSL acknowledging an actual numbers broadcast. I realize they don't actually acknowledge that the broadcast heard was their own numbers broadcast, just that they had broadcast at the same time and frequency.

The ITU monitoring station Klagenfurt (Germany) reported a voice tansmission of
OLX on 3279.7 kHz on 16-3 at 1830-1900 UTC. OLX was the callsign of the well
known numbers station from Czechoslovakia. Officially the station belonged to
the Ministry of Interior, at least they confirmed the reception reports with a
QSL card (see http://home.luna.nl/~ary/olx.htm). The numbers transmissions
stopped in 1996. Yet the station was logged by the ITU monitoring stations in
1997 (7x on 8147.7, 11416, 14977, 18303 kHz) and in 2002 (1x on 11416 kHz) and
now again on 16-3. I wonder if they really heard a callsign during the
transmission and if so if it is te same station as in the old days.

The beam from Klagenfurt was 1°, GC 15 E 9 50 N 9 which is just north of the
well known transmitter site Podebrady.
