Ha! The same nonsense over the pond. When I was in Met Police I arrested someone for Criminal Damage [also drunk as a skunk] and he claimed membership of MI5.

There was also a TV programme that dealt with our Customs and Excise and showed the undercover work they do in apprehending drug smuggling groups and other like persons who don't pay their Excise to HM Crown. 
There was a similar call on the mainset where an elderly lady had discovered a man in her garden and upon challenging him he replied, in slurred speech, "It's alright Love, I'm a Customs and Excise undercover operative!"

When he was arrested it was discovered he was nothing more than an unemployed roofer who had just put his benefit cheque through his kidneys.

Seems the same nonsense surfaces from sad drinkers at the drop of a glass!
