Hi Nick,
I love in Pasadena, and I've only had luck picking up the Cuban
stations, and then only at night.
I'm not sure how lucky you'll be, but you should check out the V2 and
V2a schedules.
You could always pull something in on your own set, record it, and
play it for your class the next day. I did that for my kids when I
could only pull in the V2* stations in the middle of the night, or see
if you could pick something up on one of the internet tuner sites.
OH! You know what else is insanely cool? You can get EAMs all day long
on certain frequencies (I don't have them in front of me, but
Spynumbers.com had something on EAMs, if I recall correctly. They're
encoded messages, sound cool as hell, and are usually loud and clear.
It's not exactly the same as a Numbers Station, but it's awfully close.
