[Spooks] Trade/share/archive recordings?

I think sharing recordings is a great idea. I have several CD's of
signals I've recorded from shortwave, both number stations as well as
regular utility stations, not to mention pirates. I've sent the CD's to
a few selected friends but don't have the webspace to put them up for
public consumption.

I've always thought it best to share information about SWL'ing,
including recordings of signals, rather than guard it closely like some
national secret. After all, what's the fun in keeping everything to
yourself?

I can sort of understand Akin Fernandez wanting to keep the material on
the Conet CDs copyrighted, but every recording he used was given to him
by monitors such as myself. I wouldn't want to restrict the use of any
recordings I make, as long as credit was given.
