The Cuban V2a frequently mixes with that religious station on 6855, I
think it's WYFR but not sure. This would be the 2100 sked for V2a which
uses 6855, on which the religious station already operates.

Tom is correct, and the Christian Family Network broadcasts on this freq
also. That is why you heard the Christmas music.
I tried to download Achtung 1234567890's sample, but had no luck with my
dial-up connection. Sorry!
If I am reading your original email correctly, you heard this on
December 12 at 2100z. I logged this sked on December 11 and December 12 and
the old voice was in use for both broadcasts. The callups being:

December 11 A 89592 11002 89022
December 12 A 89593 11003 89023

I have not heard the new V2a voice since 1200z on 4035m, December 11.
Did you get any callups with your log? The new voice seems to use higher
trailing numbers in its' calls, and also occasionally uses the numeral "0"
as a trailing digit. The voice also enunciates the numerals more and I find
it actually easier to copy.
Also, the Cubans were using a new format morse for the M8a's. The
callups are sent without any pause between each three calls. The only way
you can tell where the calls begin, is by waiting until it stops the initial
call sequence and then begins calling the first addressee in preparation for
a message. It also runs the BT's and AR's together. An example being
BTBTBT or ARARAR.
The two new formats seem to be silent for the past 36 hours. They first
surfaced a few weeks ago and then went silent for a few weeks.
Not sure if the Cubans are testing out a new system or if there is some
other unknown significance to these formats. I guess time will tell.
