I have a hard time with signals in the 9 Mhz range between 0700z and 1000z
It'd be nice to have another monitor between Mark and I.  FL is just a bit too close
to Cuba for good propagation of 9 Mhz signals at those times. and 12 Mhz signals
are hard for me to hear between 0200z and 0600z. So the more logs the better.

v2a  / m8a and it's varriants;

the one you are hearing is in MCW mode (AM with a ~1000 herttz tone).

It's not a very effiecent mode power-wize.

a carrier, and 2 sidebands. I'd estimate that 90%
of the energy is wasted (doesnt carry any usefull information).
