I was stationed at the Offutt Global HF site for about 10 years.When It was  
found out that I was a ham, All QSL's were forwarded to me. Which was a good  
thing because QSL's actually got sent out.
 
Many of the Non-HAM operators thought the whole radio "hobby" at little  
strange.
 
There was a Master Sergeant that came up with a letter that was  so corny 
that I had to go to the Commander to put a stop to it.  It  was full of CB lingo 
(big 10-4's, you keep your ears on et all)  Most  military can't figure us out.
