[Spooks] Holiday numbers

Hello numbers station fans,

i was recently spending my holidays in Platja de Pals in the Catalunya,
thats the northeastern part of spain.
Listening to the shortwave i discovered loud signals from the stations which
are said to be broadcasting from the mediterranean, especially E10 was as
loud as Heusweiler 1422kHz when i am at my fathers house (located in
Heusweiler, ca. 9 km from the transmitter facilities, so i could say i can
recognize big signals...).
The other surprise was that there are really big curtain antennae right next
to the house and the beach - 4 antenna fields, in bad conditions except one.
The belong to the former Radio liberty/Radieo free europe organisation of
the International broadcasting bureau, a subdivision of the CIA. See
http://www.radioliberty.org ! What makes that interesting is that the radio
museum website mentions that there had been rumours about "spy radio
transmissions" originating from this facility...
