Hi Mike,
I'm sending this to the list in case someone else can benefit from the
info. Earlier this year my ISP got blocked by qth.net because someone was
using it as the return address of spam. It got straightened out but
meanwhile I had to use my Yahoo mail to send and receive messages for
Spooks and the other 10 or so newsgroups at qth.net I'm on.
When you get into your Yahoo mail page, you'll see in the upper right
corner "Options". Click on that. The new page will have in the center
"Management" and under that "Mail Accounts". Click on that. This will
give you a page with "Mail Accounts" and three buttons at the top - "Add",
"Edit", "Delete". Click on "Edit". Now, down the new page, you'll see
"Composing e-mails". Click on the button that says "Compose messages as
plain text". Change any other options you wish and click on the "Save" at
the bottom left of the page. Now your Yahoo account will send e-mails as
plain text instead of html.
Good luck!
Zack
