Sounds like a good catch Devan.
As far as recording the audio to your pc, does your receiver have a
line out? You can just plug in the line out of your receiver or tape
deck into the PC's Line In or Mic-In to record the audio. Windows even
has a built in sound recorder under Start
Menu>Programs>Accessories>Entertainment. You can record up to 60
seconds of audio into a .wav file with that software.
I started recording so much I bought this $12 program,
http://www.highcriteria.com/ , Total Recorder, a couple years ago. It
allows me to record directly from my receiver and 'rip' to mp3 on the
fly.
In fact, here's a few of my catches, including Lincolnshire poacher
and the US HAARPS program.

Anyway, if you figure out how to record the audio into a .wav or .mp3
file, let me know, and I'll host it on the my website for you. Then we
can all hear it.
