Agreed. This is a prank. And a very good one at that. Modifying a ham
rig to do DSB is not that difficult. Nor is using a very cheap
computer to command it to switch frequencies and play the audio.
Heck, a microcontroller would do. Likewise a simple switchable
antenna tuner could be used allow operation on the various
frequencies from one antenna. There's nothing here to suggest any
sort of government operation. Indeed, all the facts so far suggest
the government is not involved.
I just want to get my Yosemite Sam QSL ;-)
