[Spooks] Sam on 6500 khz

I've been hearing Sam on 3700, 4300, and 6500 since about 0240 (0327 now).
The hams on 3700 have been stopping to let Sam bluster, then continuing on
as though nothing was happening. I don't hear Sam on 10500 (but that
frequency is probably closed by now).
I'm in the hobbiest / hoax camp on the origin and purpose of Sam. While I
would not put it past various commercial or governmental agencies or persons
to create Yosemite Sam, it seems to me most likely that it is being done by
a person or persons who are having a big laugh ... About every 30 seconds
