Their signals are just as strong in Illinois. I don't have rotatable
antennas (beams) so I can't get a direction for their signals.
I'm curious where someone could hide a transmitter in the USA running that
kind of power operated by Cuba. It seems our FCC would clamp down on it
in a hurry. Something with that strong of a signal would be very easy to
DF and locate.
I'm sure FCC would like to get their hands on Ragnar Radio too, but he
remains low-power and I suspect he changes locations frequently.
Transmitters running the kind of power to produce 20 over 9 signals across
most of the USA probably isn't very portable. They usually have multiple
broadcasts at the same time, which indicates a fairly large base of
operation.
