My name is Robert. I have just joined to this mailing list as since last =
year I became intersted in radio scanning.

Since last summer I owned some receivers:

VHF/UHF:
Maycom FR-100 (later I sold it)
ICOM Q7 (later I sold it)

Current: RADIOSHACK PRO 2048

HF:
For shortwave listening just two weeks before I bought a Soviet military =
receiver R-326 ("Rustle").
Although it is old looks, it is brand new it was sitting in the =
Hungarian Army's storage somewhere.

I use its standard Kulikov-type antenna.

Sunday afternoon at I heard my first number station if I am not =
mistaken.
=20
My location: Budapest, Hungary
Time: 16:46 (CET)
Frequency: 8800 kHZ (As my receiver is analog it could be +/- 1 or 2 =
kHZ)
Message: Letters (using ICAO code)=20
Voice: Female
Modulation: AM
=20
Usually at this frequency range I hear Russian maritime conversation.
Has anybod else heard it?
