[Spooks] Question about spy numbers

It would be helpful if you could find a radio with not just SW broadcasting
bands, but the whole range of e.g. 49 - 13 meters (i.e. 6 - 22 MHz), or
preferably even 150 - 13 meters (2 - 22 MHz), because most of the numbers
stations do not broadcast in or near broadcasting bands, but rather in the
quieter ranges between them... And indeed a BFO (SSB or USB/LSB) will be
most helpful, for only few stations can be heard well in AM...

Good luck!
Frank

My radio has FM, MW (standard AM radio frequencies it looks like), and
5 SW bands. Covers 19m, 25m, 31m, 41m, and 49m. It doesn't pickup
much of anything well. That could be because I've only used it
indoors, right next to the computers. A few stations come in, usually
foreign news, but I hear some data at a few frequencies.
