I looked at the copyright date and it said 1996, but I dont think it had
been sitting on the shelf for 8 years.

Chris, I bought this book years ago. It is a really nice
(comprehensive) history of cryptography - the most complete that I have
read. When I bought mine, I had to order it from the publisher because
it was pretty much out of print. Are they making a new printing?

The author (David Kahn??) is sometimes seen on Discovery Channel, TLC,
Wings, etc. when the subject matter deals with cryptography.

Mark

Hello All,

Has anybody ever heard of or read a book titled The Codebreakers? I
have
recently purchased this book and would like a review on it.

Thanks,
Chris
