[Spooks] What is it?

Hello Dan,

This has nothing to do with Spooks. Perhaps you can consider it a channel
marker. It is an identification loop of Olympia Radio, the greek maritime
station. It is audible quite well at this moment at my QTH (in the
Netherlands) on the frequency you mention.

Frank

in the marine band on 8734 kHz. I have heard a station in the evening here
in the NE USA- about 0230 UTC but I suspect it's continuous- saying, "This
is Olavia Radio," then Greek (and during Olympic Week , too! :-) ) then "806
1222 1629 1640 2210 and 2217." Has anyone else heard it or know what it may
be?
