And was funnier when it was re-released as "Mystery Science Theater 3000:
The Movie."
Don't forget "Windtalkers," which is an excellent movie portraying the use
of Navajo code talkers in the Pacific theater during WWII.
"Tailspin: Behind the Korean Airliner Shootdown" was an HBO-released movie
that detailed the shootdown of the KAL 007 747 by the Russian air force in
1983. The interesting part of this movie for us shortwave listeners is the
role played by the USAF listening post in Kadena, Japan during the incident.
This movie is very hard to find but well worth it if you can find it.
Especially if you used to be a 207X1 or 05H or 05D.
