[Spooks] One year Spooks membership

Hi list,

today it's exactly one year ago, that I subscribed to this list. At this
day I was a "newcomer" to the official numbers stations movement, although
I listen to these stations since my early childhood. With 5 years (1977) I
got my first station, and with 6 years (start of 1979) I made my first
recordings. But I came very late to the numbers stations movement. In
September 2002 I subscribed to ENIGMA2000. Never the less, this year
brought us new steps to make the hobby more public, because of several
publications in newspapers and other media. "Der Spiegel" published a big
article in December last year, and transmissions in radio and TV followed.
Although my original target to come to the numbers stations movement was,
to get new examples of old stations (for example G16), I now do the
publicity for our common hobby in the German speaking area. That's why I
call me now: the "Kopf" of the German speaking numbers stations movement
("Kopf" for "head", but in this case "speaker"). As "Kopf" I gave many
interviews to the journalists. One of the next ones will be sent on
September 16th, 17.15 UTC, in the "Deutschlandfunk" (look at Ary's N&O 63

I want to close with many thanks to all the hobbyfriends, who made their
recordings available for me. I think, it will come the day, when another
guy (or lady) will come to the Spooks list, and he (she) also has old
recordings.
