[Spooks] list administrivia

I used to run several mailing lists, but don't anymore, because it's
not fun.

I offer the following advice to list members:

There is sufficient information to figure out how to ubsubscribe to
the list if you look at the headers of every single message.

There is a URL in the footer of every single message that can be used
to unsubscribe. Someone said there isn't information on how to
unsubscribe there, but there is.

You could also note that the spooks mail is from qth.net and try going
to www.qth.net and figure out how to unsubscribe that way.

Please accept some personal responsibility for your actions on the
internet.

If you hide mail headers and then complain that you can't see
information in them, then this is nobody's problem but yours. Maybe
you shouldn't hide them.

If you hide mail footers and then complain that you can't see
information in them, then this is nobody's problem but yours. Maybe
you shouldn't hide them.

If you're using software that doesn't let you do these things, this is
nobody's problem but yours. Plenty of software does let you do it, and
perhaps you should switch. It's not the mailing list's fault that you
are using this software.

If a web page has information on how to unsubscribe, but you don't see
it, then this is nobody's problem but yours. Perhaps you could use the
'search' feature in your browser to look for the word 'unsubscribe' on
the page, or even just read it very carefully.

Just my opinion.
