Hi Gang,

Some basics:

Sending unsubscribe messages to mailman just fwds them on to me. If you
want to unsubscribe from the list, follow the rules that are at the bottom
of *every* email on the list.

Also, no one "accidently" subscribes to the list. Let's be honest. People
subscribe to the list, and throw away the email they got with their list
admin information. Then they get bored with the list, and rather than try
to figure out how to unsubscribe (see the paragraph above) they complain
that they don't know how they got on the list.  I guess the mailing list
fairies secretly added them to the list, deleted all list admin emails,
and are using special subliminal techniques to prevent them from seeing
the details at the bottom of each email.
