Your setup, although modest by hard-core DXer standards, will definitely 
net you some results. Patience is the key. I actually do not actively seek 
out numbers stations, but I do log them when I come across them, which is 
from time to time. With a little information from the database you should 
be able to nail down with a good degree of certainty when to listen. I for 
example, quite often hear a numbers station around 6959 when listening for 
pirates in the evening. Many stations keep pretty static schedules. I 
would look through the mailing list archive, if I were you, and get a feel 
for what's out there and when.
