Soma FM is back on the ('net) air with their streaming audio mixes - one
of them is a fave of mine "Secret Agent" which is ambient
pseudo-disco-swank-cocktail-generation-like mixes. I hadn't really
though Xylophones were still featured in modern pop recordings, but it's
"in there."
(((anyway))) at the risk of sounding like huge SHILL here - they sample
james bond and various other spy-movie sound-bytes in between tracks --
but tonite was a treat as I caught was I think was a bite of the
lincolshire poacher hemmed with the female spanish E10, complete with
the tinny quality wavering reception quality that give us all
number-chasers the thrills of the clandestine find...
Anyway - after much fighting for the FCC/Small-Broadcasters Royalties
changes to open up things for small online broadcasters, I thought they
could use the mention and the attention, as they are part of the
shoutcast.com system that really offers alternative programming and
wide choices for the future of net radio doesn't have to be the
comptetitor to "airwave" broadcasters. That and I think I'll suffocate
and die if I wake up and discover Clear Channel owns *every last* radio
station on the planet.
