Thanks all.

It may very well have been a USB transmission. Can't recall if I had USB 
selected or not, and my notes don't indicate. Either way, it was certainly 
interesting. I've heard plenty of numbers stations before, but haven't 
gotten to the point where I can identify specific stations. But that comes 
with time. At least now I'll know E10 when next I hear it. Certainly no 
shortage of news from that part of the world.
