[Spooks] Interesting read for potential background info.

Not directly on topic but could provide some background to help... I just
finished reading Spooky 8 by Bob King. In it he speaks of his activities in
Vietnam and then in Central and South America later, during the 90's. The
things of interest are: He talks about the types of communications they used
while in the field, officially and unofficialy. He shows copies of codes
that were used for communications using two letter designations for words.
He shows copies of documentation of landing strips used in Texas and New
Mexico. Could some of the Air Force comm's recently posted had something to
do for coordinating aircraft and "special teams" into or out of these
places? And, he shows a couple of ordinary letters that have "secret
messages" embedded in them. Giving me the idea that even nuances in the
"normal" traffic we intercept could have a deeper meaning.

Again, not directly on topic but maybe useful background information. I
picked up the book for $5 at Barnes and Noble on the clearance rack.
