Dropping the topic is just stupid and sheepish.

You are closing a debate on a subject that may not be directly on topic, but
is not so silly a subject it should be dropped. The topic still falls into
the scope of this message board. Play it out!

Here's my contribution. Bush is an idiot, and now we know for sure he'll
only be in the white house for four years. How can an American presidential
administration come up with this kind of Gestapo silliness?

Also, so far from what I've heard you guys mention on this issue, you might
as well close the list up, because it is now illegal. Several of you have
mentioned that you could still listen but not tell. What do you think you're
doing on this list? Hello!

You have a DB full of codes and freq and #'s, sounds like you're the prime
target. With their new Ashcroft plan, anyone on this list could rat you out
and all of you would be fucked! Get real...  I know some of the things that
are going through Washington these days seem like science fiction, but they
are real, and until we wake up and start taking some action and reversing
the course, the sooner we could all find ourselves in jail.

Or perhaps your wife or children, apparently that's the new FBI scare
tactic. We won't just take you in, but we'll take your family in too. Well
Fuck that! I  wasn't born, raised and educated in America to learn that my
freedom in America as an adult would be taken away, while I watch my fellow
americans piss it off by not using their rights to flex their power and kick
these corrupt hooligans out of office.

And don't give me this WAR shit either. We're not at war, and under Federal
(and some state) laws Mr. Bush is already a traitor. Get him the fuck out!

I respect this venue as not a place to go into every little current issue,
but you must realize that they are after YOU! NOW! WAKE UP!
