Nice posting James.
There is a book, which I have but cannot find or recall the title, which
was written entirely about the Polish efforts. I believe the author was
Josef Garlinski, the title might simply be 'Intercept'[not sure about the
title]! I have Kahn's code breakers, an excellent work.

Hi Paul and others - Thanks for the post. You're right about the book -
it's "Intercept: The ENIGMA War" written by Jaozef Garlianski, copyright
1980 by MacMillan Library Reference. Now out of print. Tried to find any
further info on it at the WEBsites of Barnes and Noble and also Borders.
B&N was more useful, they allow you to link into their associated bookstores
that carry used books, and a number of them have the book. Some run as
pricey as $74.00 (must be mint condition!), but others drop down as low as
$9 - 13. May have to look into one of those.

Ran across another title - "ENIGMA: How The Poles Broke The Nazi Code" by
Jerzy Straszak.
Dec.2001 printing in paperback by Hippocrene Books. Unfortunately nobody
seems to carry it.
May have to track down the publisher, it's one I've never encountered
before.

73's to all -

Jim
