This is true, although I haven't much checked out any of those freqs. Are
they fairly active? By "strategic" I was referring more to the nuclear
capabilities which are no doubt still there, only I was thinking to a lesser
extent than nowadays. So perhaps, the SKYKING msgs heard on or around the
cold war era may have been addressed to these types of assets more often
than now. I guess there's just no way to tell what they are, exactly,
without someone spilling the beans :)

Strategic was folded into the joint US Strategic Command which very much
still exists on HF.
