[Spooks] New guy question - Unid Station

Have a listen to the EAM's or a SKYKING msg at my website and see if they
sound alike. It's almost for sure a GHFS operator on 4724 which is one of
their freqs, but not used nearly as often as 11175 or 8992.

I think they do have some in common with numbers stations, but they are
equally interesting in ways. Besides using a communications technique so
close to #'s stations, they can sound "spooky" as well:) When their
transmission is beaming around the world, from 5 or more directions
simultaneously, and creates a freaky reverse echo. The digital keying sound
at the end of some of them are said to toggle auxiliary transmitters,
presumably in different locations.

The SKYKING msgs leave you wondering what they are saying, and who the
intended recipient is. There are some funny goof ups too such as in numbers
stations. Check out the frustrated trainee ones 13 Nov 01...

Frequency was somewhere around 4700KHz. I was in bed, & didn't have
anything to write it down on.
