I agree that Backwards Music isn't a good ref to this but it doens't seem 
likely to me that this station is accidently emitting these signals.. There 
are definitely at least 2 carriers involved - audio feedback may be involved 
I supposed but with multiple carriers in a small frequency range you will 
have heterodyining.. You can even simulate the erie echoing effect yourself 
with a very low power signal near your receiver from a decent signal 
generator... Slowly sweep it across an AM signal you are receiving on USB or 
LSB while you slowly tune the receiver across the signal (like CHU or WWV)  
and you will hear it...
