[Spooks] End of year thoughts...

Hi there list

well, since we are at the end of the year, how about a gathering together of
thoughts about our hobby?  Does anyone have any outstanding
memories/comments to make about numbers stations and the listening to
thereof?

My year had to be one of frustration compared to earlier years - inspite of
the help of stalwarts on the list I had a lot less logs this year.  I'm not
sure why.  But hearing the second XPH schedule without realising (until I
got help from others) that it was a new(ish) thing was pretty cool for me.
Then there was the "new" voice of E7 which I heard earlier in the year -
just one of the fascinating things about the whole concept.  I mean, why
change the voice.

Then there was the disappearance of G4 and G7; did they ever return?

So, any thoughts on 2001?  Or even predictions for 2002?
