Numbers station recordings seem to be the latest sort of "filler"
noise that mainstream directors/musical artists seem to be using.
There's a station on Soma FM that plays 70s spy music 24/7 and uses
recordings of lincolnshire poacher and E7 (I think) as transitions
between songs about every half hour or so. I used the three note
anomaly and a recording of XPH once as an opening into a mixset a few
years ago.
