[Spooks] Reminder - new list

Regarding posts to this list (or any of the qth.net lists)  AOL Versions 6 & 7 WILL NOT WORK. They automatically format HTML email and that CANNOT BE DISABLED.  Any message sent to the lists using AOL v6 and 7 suffer from this and, as typical, AOL continues to ignore the issue ..

One can still post to these lists however using AOL by:
1. Using Version 5 or earlier
2. going to AOL Anywhere interface using v6 or 7 via the web at  http://www.aol.com.  Select AOL Anywhere and go to mail. You will have to log in again even tho you are already logged in via the standard AOL interface. A pain yes - but hey it's AOL afterall.

Please note that eliminating any special fonts, signatures, etc. will not work with v 6 or v 7. You are simply hosed unless you do either of the alternatives recited above. The AOL Anywhere web interface is not too troublesome to deal with altho not nearly as robust as the main AOL program.
