Hi all,

Here's the scoop:

Al contacted me, said he heard what sounded to him like a numbers station
at that time, on that freq. He didn't have a recording. He checked the
NumbersDB, and saw the E3 close frequency, but said it did not sound like
E3. He said it sounded a little like a flute. I mentioned E16 to him, said
they weren't on the air any more, and send him a short WAVE file of E16.
He said "That's it!". Hence my conclusion that this may indeed be E16. Is
it E16? Well, there's one way to find out - park your radio on that freq
at that time, say on Friday, and give a listen.
