[Spooks] Reminder - new list

Hi Folks,

Just a reminder, please direct all posts to the *new* list, that
includes any replies you might make to existing message threads. It's
real simple - just stick the word "mailman" before the qth, with a dot.
The existing list will be going away shortly.

Everyone got a short email with a password (you can change it) to
manange any of your qth mailing lists. A lot of folks here are probably
WUN members as well, that list is shifting over to the new software
shortly as well. You'll also get a monthly reminder of your password, in
case you forget. You have full control of your account from that web
page, so you should be able to manage your account completely by
yourself.

One note - you cannot receive both the "normal" and digest versions of
the list at the same email address any longer, so if you were previously
getting both, you're now just getting the digest, and you may wish to
change that. 

Another reminder, html/mime posts are *not* allowed on any qth list. If
you have a differently-abled email program (Outlook and AOL are
especially guilty) that defaults to html, be sure to disable it, or your
posts will *not* go through. Likewise, you must be subscribed from any
address you try to send mail from, this is an anti-spam measure.  
This new mailing list software will automatically unsubscribe people
who's mail is bouncing, something I had to do manually before. So if you
use a throw-away email account like hotmail, yahoo, etc, and you let
your mailbox fill up, you'll probably find yourself removed from the
Spooks list. 

Finally, I do not approve subscription requests manually, or requests to
subscribe a given address. If you can't subscribe yourself, you won't be
able to unsubscribe yourself.
