[SOC] How and why?

Bonjour,

I have discovered the SOC gang years ago, via the Flying Pigs QRP club (RIP W8DIZ).
At that time, a lot of FP members were also SOCers, so that was an easy move.
Back in the days, both mailing lists (FP & SOC) were more active than nowadays but I guess this is common for a lot of 
clubs now.
Just wondering how many FPers are still here on this list? Ping...
