[SOC] How and why?

I think I found out about SOC following a thread on the FISTS io group
about FOC.
I doubt if FOC would have me as a member, but I am a founder member of
CWops.

Just to confuse people, I’ll be GW0DJA this weekend, although the Uk
licence makes the W optional now…
