[SOC] Is it designed to do this ?

I found, and now have, a _manual_ K-cup brewer. If you can boil water, you
can use your K-cups to make coffee. It's made by Presto. I take it to
conventions where I'm not sure of the coffee.

The in-room coffee makers are terrible, their ground coffee universally
stale and cheap. So I ignore their ground coffee and only use their brewers
to make hot water. I bring several fresh K-cups and the manual brewer,
assuring I'll have good coffee in the morning.
