due to the uneven magnetic turmoil, solar wind particles
become focused into intense radiation laden beams.
Rare alignment of the interplanetary magnetic field
coupled with cosmic rays of distant galactic origin.
Invisible to human eyes, a lethal death awaits
unsuspecting life.

Its victims lie scattered about the tundra. Entire
arctic villages lay wasted, hundreds of
caribou writing in the woes of death spasms.

Living flesh reduced to a gelatinous goo, exposed tissue
ripped apart at its very foundation. Cellular structure
blown apart from the intense expansion as internal heating
reaches the boiling point. Hemorrhagic radiation.

Invisible, unpredictable, a new topic for the
intellectuals to ponder, explore and investigate.
Initially, feeble attempts to explain this new mechanism
producing a geographical kill zone.

Meanwhile. Out on the tundra, thousands of flies feast
on the fluid oozing from the flesh of the dead ....
