Wearing an aluminum helmet for protection is pure urban legend. It will act as one plate of a capacitor, thereby building up a charge between it and the ground and thus, frying your brain. You need to run a (black or green) wire from the aluminum hat to ground. Use #12 stranded wire and drive the ground rod in at least 4 feet. Sprinkle the area around your feet with table salt. Avoid wearing metallic things such as zippers and wedding rings.
