You shud've kept that Apple ][. It's a time machine!

The Apple ][ was launched in June 1977, didn't ship until November 1977
and didn't reach the UK until a little while later........

I remember because it was University times and our supervisor bought
one. Wow! The BBC Micro was vastly superior (let flame war begin).
