[SOC] Hi

I remember when I got my Apple2 system back in 1975 (it cost as much as
a small car back then) and had 48kB of RAM.

My friends thought 48kB was grossly excessive "who will ever need that
much RAM".

Full height floppy drives at £450 each. Pack of 10 floppies (which held
200kB each) was £35.

Multiply by 3 to get todays equivalent prices.

Ahhhh, the 'good' old days :-p

Currently running a totally air-cooled i7 system, with M2 drives and
16GB RAM that I built about a year back. No fans or moving parts.

Totally silent. Kinda spooky at first. Boots from cold in a few seconds.
Cost only half what my Apple system did in 1975 prices.
