[SOC] Hello again

Hi All,

After ploughing through some emails that had backed up because I'd not
logged into my account for several days, I came across a cry for help from
a prospective new member.  After apologizing for my tardiness I said I
would see what I could find out.

On entering the twilight zone known as the group archives I found out that
Rod (G0ERS) was now SOC member number 1270.  :-)

I've been away from using the radio for a while.  After my long time
partner, Kate, passed away in January 2016 I found a new hobby of
motortrikes and motorbikes, leading to my passing my UK "A" motorcycle
licence at the age of 54 and I've been racking up the miles on a Yamaha
MT-09 Tracer and, lately, a KTM 390 Duke.

Anyway, I'll try to be a bit more active on CW again, especially VHF and
UHF, which are my main Amateur Radio interests.
