[SOC] I'm confused now

I'm not necessarily opposed to staring at something mindless for entertainment value, but it just seems to be a time suck when I could be doing something at least mildly productive. It's not as though my honey-do list is getting any shorter any time soon.

I often wonder what reality TV lives in. House hunters: she's a volunteer reader for honey bees, and a part time not-for-profit coordinator. He is a semi-pro surfer and full time beach bum. Our budget is $750,000 plus renovations. Where did I go wrong in my life?!

| The proper study of Man is anything but Man; and the most improper job of any man, even saints (who at any rate were at least unwilling to take it on), is bossing other men. Not one in a million is fit for it, and least of all those who seek the opportunity. – J. R. R. Tolkien

Yes indeed Nick, more often than not, I shake my head in disbelief that folks pay good money to watch that stuff.
Was starting to question myself, I know I'm not as culturally sophisticated as others in the urban areas down south.
