Just a note to introduce myself. You'll find a link to my website on my 
QRZ page which will tell you more about me than you probably want to know.

My website has a photo of me which doubles as a fireguard. Put a copy of 
that on your mantlepiece and your grandkids will never go anywhere near 
the fire.

You'll also see that I'm President of RAOTA, but don't let that fool 
you. My appointment was entirely down to not being sufficiently 
competent at ducking fast enough when the job became available.

The only thing I'm competent at is appearing to be competent, and 
sometimes I'm not even competent at that.

I look forward to bumping into you on the air one day.
