[SOC] To be SOC or not that much

Hi all,

I know it may not sound SOC at all but as some of us are QRP ops and thus
trying to keep power consumption as low as possible, would it be possible,
when replying to a post (i.e. quoting) on the ML, that you remove the
endless mailman footnotes?

Sample:

Here the 6 ">" means that we have a reply to a reply replying to a reply
which replies to a reply to an initial post. (+/- 1 :p )
And, of course, the message ends which 7 times the said footnote.

Warning: this email is _not_ aimed at anyone in particular. I was supposed
to send it days ago, I am just late, as usual.
